Problem Statement

Over 500 million people in India are financially invisible — not because they are irresponsible, but because traditional credit systems only recognize people who are already banked. Daily wage workers, gig workers, and small vendors manage money carefully every day, yet get rejected by every lender because they have no credit score, no bank history, and no way to prove their creditworthiness. The problem runs three levels deep. First, there is no credit identity — real financial behavior exists but leaves no verifiable trace. Second, there is no privacy — sharing a score today means exposing everything, with no selective disclosure. Third, there is no trust — a privately computed score has no independent verification layer. FinSaathi solves all. We analyze real transaction behavior across 6 signals to generate a BehaviorScore™, anchor it on the Stellar blockchain as a tamper-proof credential, and give users Zero-Knowledge Proofs to prove eligibility without revealing their scores.

Solution & AI Usage

FinSaathi's solution is built on three layers working together — AI, blockchain, and cryptography. The AI layer is the engine. Our BehaviorScore™ analyzes 6 behavioral signals from real transaction history — spending consistency, income regularity, debt avoidance, safe transaction hours, velocity patterns, and savings behavior — and produces a credit score between 300 and 900 with per-signal explanations and improvement tips. Our Fraud Shield uses explainable AI with SHAP-style feature attribution, so every fraud flag comes with a reason, not just a number. The AI Copilot answers financial queries in multiple languages. The Trading Agent autonomously detects portfolio drift and suggests rebalancing on the Stellar DEX. The blockchain layer makes it trustworthy. Every BehaviorScore™ is anchored on Stellar Testnet. The cryptography layer makes it private. Zero-Knowledge Proofs let users prove loan eligibility without revealing their score.

FinSaathi — AI Banking Companion on Stellar Blockchain

Over 500 million people in India are financially invisible. They earn, spend, and save responsibly every day — but because they lack formal bank history, they are permanently locked out of credit. Traditional scoring systems only recognize the already-banked. FinSaathi was built to change that.

FinSaathi is a full-stack AI-powered financial platform built on the Stellar blockchain. It generates a verifiable credit identity for anyone — no bank account required — by reading real transaction behavior and turning it into a trustworthy, privacy-preserving credit score.

Core Innovation — BehaviorScore™ Our proprietary AI engine analyzes 6 behavioral signals from transaction history: spending consistency, income regularity, debt avoidance, safe transaction hours, transaction velocity, and savings behavior. These signals combine into a score between 300 and 900, with a tier, grade, and personalized improvement tips. Every score is SHA-256 hashed and anchored on Stellar Testnet as a real on-chain transaction — verifiable by anyone at Stellar Expert.

Privacy Layer — Zero-Knowledge Proofs Users can prove loan eligibility without revealing their actual score. Using hash-commitment ZK proofs, a user commits to their score with a secret salt, generates a proof that their score meets a threshold, and shares only the verdict — eligible or not. The lender learns nothing else. Mathematically impossible to reverse.

Security Layer — Encrypted Score Transmission For banks requiring the full score, FinSaathi encrypts it with AES-256 using the bank's public key and transmits it over the Stellar blockchain. The bank decrypts on their side. Zero data leakage. Bank-grade security.

AI Features Fraud Shield uses explainable AI with SHAP-style feature attribution — every fraud flag explains exactly why. The multilingual AI Copilot answers banking queries in Hindi, Tamil, and English. The autonomous Trading Agent monitors portfolio drift on the Stellar DEX and suggests rebalancing with a full reasoning log. The Invoice Parser extracts merchant, amount, and category from PDF bills automatically.

Blockchain Integration Payments and micro-loans run on Stellar Devnet. Score credentials are anchored on Stellar Testnet with ManageData operations. The x402 Score API implements HTTP 402 micropayments — a lender pays 0.001 XLM and receives a verified credit score instantly.
